Hours of Operation:
The Indio Bilingual Enrollment Services Staff is available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Administration Office - Building B. Hours of operation are subject to change, please contact our office or visit our website for changes in hours. We look forward to connecting with you and helping answer your questions.

Counseling Services
The Counseling Center offers a variety of counseling options, including in-person, online and via phone.
Appointments
Please call 760-396-2010 or 760-776-7200 for availability at the Indio Campus or call 760-773-2521 for availability at the Palm Desert Campus.
Drop-Ins
Counselors are available for students to speak with on a drop-in basis. In drop-in counseling, counselors can answer quick questions or help with problems that require immediate attention in-person or via phone. If your question requires more than 15 minutes to address, the counselor may schedule you for a follow-up appointment.
Please call 760-396-2010 or 760-776-7200 to be added to the Indio Drop-In List or call 760-773-2521 to be added to the Palm Desert Drop-In List.
The drop-in list normally closes a half an hour before closing, however, due to the high volume of students, it may close earlier.
Online Counseling Appointments

Disabled Students Programs & Services (DSPS)
Disabled Students Programs and Services is committed to providing students with disabilities equal access to a community college education. Through the utilization of specialized instructional programs and disability related services, DSPS encourages and fosters independence and assists students in attaining their educational and vocational goals.
DSPS currently serves approximately 998 students each year with disabilities at College of the Desert, assisting them to achieve their educational goals by providing the services and programs needed to participate in the college classroom.

EDGE and plEDGE
The plEDGE Program offers recent high school graduates (or equivalent) from the Coachella Valley two full years of free tuition and fees at College of the Desert!

EOPS/CARE
EOPS is a state-funded program that provides educational support services to eligible students who have historically experienced economic and educational disadvantages. EOPS assists eligible students in obtaining their educational goals by providing additional support through counseling, tutoring, book service, assistance in transferring to a four-year university, and other services.

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Team is available to help answer your questions in-person or via phone at 760-776-7200 (press option 2) or 760-773-2532 or via email at FAO@Collegeofthedesert.edu.
In-person Financial Aid services are available at the Indio Campus and Palm Desert Campus. The Indio Financial Aid Window is open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Administration Office - Building B. Hours of operation are subject to change, please contact the Financial Aid office or visit the Financial Aid website.
