Institutional Outcomes

This page provides institutional outcomes data about accountability efforts developed by external agencies to evaluate community colleges. Use the links below to view information about various accountability efforts.

  1. DataVista is the main metrics platform for information on California Community Colleges and Adult Education student success.
    • To view College of the Desert data, select “Desert” in the Locale filter. 
  2. DataMart provides information about students, courses, student services, outcomes, faculty, and staff. The emphasis is to answer the questions of administrators, educators, parents, students, state leaders and professional organizations.
    • To view College of the Desert data, select “Districtwide Search” and “Desert CCD” in the “Select District-College” filter.
  3. The Student Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) was adopted in the 2018–19 state budget as a new way to allocate funding to community college districts. The SCFF provides funding that supports access through enrollment-based funding, student equity by targeting funds to districts serving low-income students, and student success by providing districts with additional resources for student’s successful outcomes.

  4. The College Scorecard is a federal website that collects graduation and financial aid information about colleges in the United States.
  5. Student Right-to-Know provides information on graduation and completion rates required by the federal Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990.
