Job search, resume and interviewing skills workshops are available during the fall and spring semesters. Be sure to go to Handshake and access your free account, check out the events and reserve your spot today. You can also download the Handshake app through Google Play or Apple App Store and browse and apply for jobs and internships that are posted.
You can create or update your current resume by using SkillsFirst.
This service is free for College of the Desert students and alumni.
SkillsFirst will also provide you with cover letter samples and assistance with improving your interviewing skills, and provide you with the tools to build your professional website and e-portfolio.
