SECTION 2 - STUDENT INFORMATION

• Headcount

  California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) Management Information Systems (MIS) Data Mart provides publicly available headcount data. Headcount refers to the unique count of students. To view College of the Desert headcount data,  from the filter "Select State-District-College" select "Districtwide Search", from the filter "Select District-College", select "Desert CCD", from the filter "Select Term-Annual Option" select term search if you wish to see data one term at a time, or annual if you wish to see the headcount for the entire academic year, and proceed to "View Report". Once the report populates, Headcount Status, Gender, Age Group, and Ethnicity filters are available to disaggregate headcount data. Select the category of interest and proceed to "Update Report".

• Enrollment

  CCCCO MIS Data Mart provides publicly available enrollment data. Enrollments reflect the number of seats taken and is also referred to as duplicated headcount. To view data, please see steps above on how to filter data.

• Student Outcomes

  CCCCO MIS Data Mart provides publicly available course success (i.e., received a grade of A, B, C, or Pass) and course retention (i.e., received a grade other than a W or DR) outcomes. To view data, please see steps above on how to filter data.

• Program Awards

• CCCCO MIS Data Mart provides publicly available program award data. This section contains information about program awards College of the Desert conferred, disaggregated by award type (i.e. associate, certificates, noncredit awards). To view data, please see steps above on how to filter data.

• Transfer Volume

• Transfer Volume to California State Universities (CSU)
•  
• This data dashboard was developed by CSU and provides information on transfer volume to CSU in the selected term. Select "Institution of Origin" tab at the top, from the filters on the left select the term of interest, from "Institution of Origin Type" select "CA Community College", from "Institution of Origin Name" filter on top of the data table, select "College of the Desert, Palm Desert". The data will filter to show undergraduate transfers from College of the Desert to CSU.

Transfer Volume to University of California (UC)

This data dashboard was developed by UC and provides information on transfer volume to UC in the selected term. Into the "Search for a community college" search bar filter, type "desert" and enter. The data will filter to show undergraduate transfers from College of the Desert to UC. 

Transfer Volume to In State Private and Out of State Universities

CCCCO MIS Data Mart provides publicly available transfer volume data to in state private and out of state universities. To view College of the Desert headcount data,  from the filter "Select State-District-College" select "Districtwide Search", and from the filter "Select District-College", select "Desert CCD."

• Employee Demographics

  This section contains information about the Desert Community College District employees by employee category (i.e., faculty, administration, classified) and by various demographics, such as age and gender.
