College of the Desert offers non-credit classes in the areas of English as a Second Language (ESL Non-Credit), Adult Basic Education (ABE/HSD/GED), Academic Skills Center (ASC), and Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS). These non-credit classes are not for college credit (have zero credit units) and they are graded with Pass (CR/P) and No Pass (NC/NP) grades.

Success rate in non-credit courses is the percent of students who received a passing grade of CR/P in non-credit course out of total students who received any grade in that course (CR/P, NC/NP, and W), as reported in the Datatel. The rate is not adjusted for the DR grades (drop after census grades are not reported in the Datatel), and it should be used for the comparison only.
