                        CTE Transitions (formerly known as Tech Prep) is a technical and academic preparation
                           program that enables high school students to prepare for a career and college at the
                           same time. Students can even earn college credits while still in high school!
 
                         
 
                        CTE Transitions is a bridge that connects learning to careers. It provides students
                           with the technical skills, knowledge, and attitudes in preparation for high skill
                           in wage or high demand occupations in current and emerging professions. 
 
                        
 
                        
                           
Who is a CTE Transitions Student?
                         
                        A student who begins a series of CTE classes (usually during the eleventh 0r twelfth
                           grade year) and then transfers to a community college to complete an additional two
                           years of study in the same industry/occupation. The ultimate goals are graduation
                           from high school and graduation from community college with an advanced degree or
                           certificate.
