Articulation is a specific class or series of classes taken by a student in a high school or Regional Occupational Program program where the student gets credit for the class at College of the Desert. This occurs through a partnership agreement in which College of the Desert reviews and determines the high school curriculum is in alignment with the college course. Students earn college credit for the high school course through the Credit by Exam process which means a student has satisfactorily passed an exam approved or conducted by the College of the Desert faculty.
Articulation is very similar to but differs from Dual and/or Concurrent Enrollment. For more information about early college access through our Dual Enrollment program, contact 760-862-1396.
