International Education Week

We are excited to invite you to celebrate International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education that highlights the benefits of international cultural exchange and education. The International Education Program (IEP) encourages all students and staff to participate in the following activities during this special week.

Monday, November 18:

Event Title: Dishes from Around the World

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens Multi-Purpose Room

Description: Join us to explore and taste dishes from around the world, expertly prepared by our talented international students. Discover perse flavors and cultures while connecting with our vibrant international community! Enjoy cooking demonstrations every two hours.


Tuesday, November 19:

Event Title: International Trivia Competition

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens Multi-Purpose Room

Description: Participate in a global knowledge challenge! Form your own team or join one on the day of the event for a chance to win prizes in trivia, games, and international fashion. Plus, pizza will be provided for all participants!


Wednesday, November 20:

Event Title: International Games and Candies

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Location: Cravens 2nd Floor, Room 269

Description: Experience global board games, card games, and other activities from around the world while enjoying a selection of international candies!


Thursday, November 21:

Event Title: International Fashion Runway & Dance

Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Location: Fountain of Knowledge (in front of the library)

Description: Don’t miss the grand finale of our week! Join us for an international fashion show, live performances, and a lively international dance party!
