The Financial Aid Office hosts workshops for students that need assistance with our COD Scholarship Application. Below are the dates/times for in-person scholarship workshop offered at the Palm Desert Campus.

Thank You Card Requirements
If you are selected, COD scholarship recipients will be notified via MyCOD email during the Summer 2024 term. Email notification will provide recipients with details on next steps to accept your COD scholarship and instructions on the Thank You Letter requirement.
As a scholarship recipients, students will be required to submit an approved Thank You Letter for their donor(s) Please be sure to complete your Thank You Letter requirement as soon as possible to ensure your scholarship arrives in a timely manner.
Students will have until the end of the term to complete the requirement, otherwise, the scholarship may be withdrawn.

As you write your Thank You Letter, we encourage you to consider the following:
- Express your unique personality
- Be sincere and express enthusiasm
- Importance of the scholarship received to you and/or family
- Positive Impacts on your academic career and future
- Your background, goals, interests and activities
- Write clearly and precisely (IMPORTANT: Grammar)
